Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for organising last night. Your hard work paid off handsomely, it felt like an established event first time round. Having organised many events in the past I know how much work is required to make it appear effortless so well done.
It was a bit of a milestone for me too, I managed to (mostly) control my nerves (with a little advice from Katherine on nerve-reducing hand pressure points!). It was lovely of you to let me read – especially following a reading of Keats! How brave you are! - Mo Needham

Can I thank you for a most enjoyable evening last night. I wasn't sure that I would enjoy it and thought that I might get a bit bored listening to others reading poems all night, as I had never attended anything like this before. However I really enjoyed it and was surprised how quick the evening went. Please could you put me down for a slot at the next one on the 9th December.

Thanks so much for inviting us your poetry event last night - Samiha and I both had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was brilliant, and the poetry was very impressive. I particularly enjoyed the range of work, the attention and support of the audience for their fellow poets, and the mixture of art and poetry (with a hint of music).
Personal favourites - I loved Stevie Gilmore's artwork, those lovely Wiltshire landscapes, Alan Buckley's poetry, John Richardson's wonderfully romantic poems, and Cristina's work too - isn't she just gorgeous? But having picked out those in particular, I have to say I enjoyed and appreciated all of it, there was so much to relish. And you, of course, were an excellent host.
Many congratulations on organising such a successful evening and thanks for our comp tickets. Both Samiha and I are hoping to come again another time. - Sarah Singleton
